This year, the Eastern Conference is being led by Boston with 60 wins and Detroit with 53 wins. New Orleans and San Antonio are battling over the western Conference with 52 wins each, however, San Antonio is on an 8 game winning streak. In the 2008 All Star game, more than 16 thousand fans came out to watch the East battle the West. The East was triumphant over the West with a final score of 134-128. Ray Allen made 28 points for the East, while Lebron James contributed 27 points and received his second MVP award for his efforts.
